The Shed, Tokavaig, Isle of Skye
I stumbled across this design recently in a list of Island Hotels featured in the gallery section of Wallpapers* website. The house is a beautiful architect designed guest house located on a stony, seaweed-strewn beach along the west coast of the Sleat peninsula in the highland hamlet of Tokavaig in Scotland.
Designed by architect Arnold-Forster, the house is a contemporary version of an agricultural store. The house is defined by its corrugated-iron roof and locally sourced Scottish larch façade. Architect Arnold-Forster designed the house as well as the interior.
