I recently came across this fantastic home in South West England on Dezeen by London based architecture firm Studio Octopi and thought it was certainly worth sharing. The private dwelling was commissioned by a client with very specific needs, but the exceptional subtlety of the design and the extremely high quality execution of the detailing has resulted in a magnificent piece of residential architecture!

The house was commissioned by the client who wanted a place to both live and work. The brief was for a building that interacted effortlessly with the landscape. However, there was a core desire to create a piece of responsive architecture that was not defined by the clients use of a wheelchair.
