688 Broadway is a 12-story mixed-use residential development in NYC’s NoHo Historic District. Its primary façade on Broadway consists of a brick piers with full height glazing and a terracotta screen outboard. While unashamedly contemporary in its expression, the facade materials used help to embed the building in the rich masonry and cast iron facades of its context.
The building broadly consists of 17 luxurious residential units above a ground and cellar floor retail. At the cellar level, there is also a substantial amenity package consisting of thermal bath amenity spaces, steam room, treatment room, fitness room, yoga room and with changing facilities.
While the main residential entrance is off Broadway, there is a secondary more private gated residential entrance to the rear accessed via Great Jones Alley. This secondary entrance features naturally oxidizing Corten steel, a cobblestone driveway, and a living green wall.
